One of the most popular facilities funded by the Parish Council is the playground at the sports field. Unfortunately, over the years playgrounds have become expensive to maintain. A couple of pieces of equipment are going to be expensive to repair and the Council is applying for grants to assist with the cost of removing and replacing the pirate ship and the large multi-play equipment.
The initial idea is to replace the two pieces of equipment with one large multi-play, ideally with a slide to replace the two that will be removed. The Council would also like to reduce the area of bark chippings as it is becoming a large annual expense to top up the chippings.
To help us understand which are the most popular pieces in the playground and the ages of the children who are using the equipment we would be grateful if you could complete a short questionnaire. We would like to hear from residents who have children who use the playground or visiting children who use it too.
Please note that the replacement of the play equipment is subject to successful grant applications due to the costs involved, but having feedback from residents will be helpful to the applications and future management of the playground.
