Cheering Volunteering is organised by the Community Engagement Team in partnership with CVS and Beds RCC. It is our annual thank you and celebration event for volunteers across Central Bedfordshire and last year we welcomed over 300 volunteers to the Rufus Centre for afternoon tea and entertainment. Due to its popularity this year we are offering two sessions, 10 – 12pm or 2pm – 4pm so that volunteers can choose a time to suit them. Each session will be the same, with tasty refreshments, treats and entertainment. As in previous years we will be inviting groups to apply for an Inspiring Volunteering small grant and will announce successful applications at Cheering Volunteering. Please let volunteers and groups of volunteers in your area know about the event and signpost them to our website for more information.
‘Cheering Volunteering 2023 ’ is now live on the website including booking arrangements, how to apply for an Inspiring Volunteering grant and a request to upload testimonials of volunteering experiences.
