Anglian Water has advised the Parish Council of the following:
Good afternoon,
You may be aware that we are working in Moggerhanger to reinforce the existing sewer network and help reduce the impact of groundwater infiltration on our assets.
I am getting in touch today to provide more details on the next phase of works, which we are soon to begin in Blunham.
From the 24th November, we will be working to reinforce the sewers throughout Blunham to keep them in excellent condition and help prevent groundwater getting into the sewer network and impacting our pumping stations. As part of this, we will install several new manhole chambers in the carriageway to support the installation of liners and improve visibility when carrying out any sewer inspections in the future.
We expect these works to last eight weeks and so we hope to be finished in Blunham in mid-January.
To ensure the safety of our teams and the public, we will need to use some temporary traffic management whilst we work – the details of which (subject to change) are in the table below. We would like to apologise for any disruption caused by these works and the traffic management.

On-street parking will be suspended while we’re working, but driveways will be accessible, and we’ll aim to maintain access to all properties and businesses within our closures via the diversion routes.
