The map sent is not clear. Can it be confirmed that the closure is between the Park Lane junction on The Hill and the Station Road junction, and that Park Lane cannot be used as an alternative route through the village?
If this is the situation a 24 hour complete blockage for 12 days is unacceptable. How do residents from the bottom of the village get to the Doctor in Gt Barford without a 7 or 8 mile detour? Everyone in Blunham will be very seriously inconvenienced for a development that the village does not want. It is essential that a proper plan is fully thought through and there is full consultation. Why cannot we have a solution where one lane is kept open for much of the time? It might cost the developer more, but that is a penalty they should bear for constructing these houses in such an awkward position.

Thank you for your message. I have now uploaded an updated map which has been received from the developer. The issue is also going to be discussed at the Parish Council meeting this evening.
