The Trap has seen an unprecedented increase in visitors during the lock down period, in common with other open spaces across the country.
Most of these visitors are good natured, tidy people, enjoying this public amenity area. However, some have proved to be more challenging visitors, & we have seen in increase in litter, & on occasions bad behaviour. To try & help address this, we have added a new sign, introduced a litter picking rota , & requested a larger bin from the Council. We have also ordered a water safety board. Our local PCSO is also aware, & has made The Trap part of her routine places to visit. Thank you to everyone who is helping keep this area clean & safe for all to enjoy.
